Events
Our main meeting is held once a month, usually on the second Wednesday of the month. The meeting starts at 7pm with a quick review of the group status and industry news. Later we do attendee introductions and presentations. These presentations can be shorter, 10 minute show and tell demos or longer formalized talks. The meeting last around 2 hours.
Due to COVID, our events are online for the foreseeable future.
In the past we’ve also ran weekly book clubs and may do so again in the future. If you would like to see a new book club or other event kickoff, speak up and let us know.
Group Leadership
The current head organizer of Philly Elixir is Mike Zornek. Feel free to contact Mike with any feedback or concerns.
We also would like to recognize and thank previous group organizers, Mike Nicholaides and Brian McElaney, for their dedication and work promoting Elixir in Philadelphia!

- Member Outreach and Marketing - We are looking to grow Philly Elixir and need boots on the ground to help with marketing and sponsoring new members to make sure the group helps them achieve their goals.
- Video Editing - There is some interest in editing clips and isolated presentations from the meetings and posting the recordings online.
- Event Host - We would love to expand our events, perhaps hosting another book club or one off coding event. If you have an idea, let us know.
